Ever since my PGCE I have been convinced that every Maths topic has a unique and interesting way to be taught. 7 years later and I have collected and created 100s of resources to prove my point. All resources, including IB and A Level, are designed to be thoroughly engaging but yet cover every bit of content required with plenty of practise too. Teach LCM with the life of the Cicada bugs or teach proportions using celebrity faces and the golden ratio. All fully animated engaging powerpoints.

Around 3-4 lessons worth or material. All resources required to teach surface area and volume of all the 3D shapes required for the GCSE. Starts with cuboids and prisms and moves on to composite 3D shapes. Followed by cylinders, spheres, pyramids and cones. Finishes with A* style questions. Fun activities and interesting questions keep the lessons engaging. An end of topic assessment is also included that can me completed and peer marked in a lesson. This resource assumes knowledge in areas of all 2D shapes.

Pretty simple. A Where's Wally picture with a coordinates grid pasted on the front. Can be used in a number of ways. I get students to crowed around the board and shout out the coordinates of various items I call out. ** You will need measuring tapes to run this activity/lesson** Ratio and Proportion Students are introduced to Leonardo Di Vinci's view of what the perfectly proportioned man is. Using statements that Leonardo made students will learn the ratios and how to calculate with them. The main task will be them working in pairs to see how they measure up to Leonardo's expectations (using the worksheet). A quick finish with an introduction to the golden ratio and a nice video that closes the lesson.
