NOW WITH VIDEO LINK EMBEDDED AS WELL! Nicely designed "History Bookmark" Task. Designed them as an interactive homework to encourage engagement and be a fantastic tool for revision rather than just another homework that gets lost and forgotten. The QR codes are already implemented using various reliable resources from the internet such as BBC bitesize and high level websites for stretch tasks. Task is easily differentiated and altered for your needs. Ready to go apart from changing the logo and school name. QR readers are free on any device to download. Please review :)

Very interactive and engaging and looks fantastic to senior staff and forward thinking schools. "history bookmark" to support the learning or introduce next learning. Differentiated tasks with "stretch" task for the more able! QR code is very interactive and allows students to use their phones for their homework which has encouraged participation in my experience. QR code links are already built in - 2 different links for different levels. Resource is simply print and go. Enjoy. Please Review :)

Slave Trade Abolition 1807

Excellent interactive lesson for KS3 on reasons and causes of the abolition of the slave trade in 1807. Interactive starter with links to modern day - something everyone will have held in their hand but wont have realised the reason (great debate point) Keywords Card sort activity in teams (categories on the wall, sort cards into the appropriate one - very interactive and looks great to an observer!) Extension task sorting factors that lead to abolition into actions by blacks and whites 3 Step assessment - excellent summative assessment strategy that guides progress Homework or plenary task that allows students some options or a very nice and successful strategy for the teacher to guide differentiation.
