My kids can NOT get ENOUGH of animals. My classroom has various animal books that are out throughout the course of the year and those are always the books the kids are BEGGING to get their hands on. I love when my students are reading something non-fiction and they come running up to me saying, "Did you know...?!" I always feel like I am scrambling to expand on the animal when I read the Magic Tree House series to add a non-fiction element to the unit.
