My kids can NOT get ENOUGH of non-fiction. My classroom has various non-fiction books that are out throughout the course of the year and those are always the books the kids are BEGGING to get their hands on. This unit is all about the Asian Elephant. I like being able to engage my students in these research projects during our ELA block.
