In this lesson, students will be introduced to the world of electricity. Students will familiarize themselves with essential terminology, distinguish between conductors and insulators and visualize static electricity in the everyday. They will also dive deeper into circuits, understanding their components to build accurate circuit diagrams. Used in Y4

In this lesson, students explore human and animal life cycles, highlighting similarities and differences by creating diagrams. Students strengthen research and creativity by depicting an animal life cycle of their choice. Students also match parents to offspring, enhancing their understanding of heredity, and research further to create survival posters for animals.

To fit with a Pirate topic we adapted the classic Bear Hunt to fit. This can be used to make a book for the reading corner/to introduce the story and then can be used as sequencing cards.
