This packet has fifty, fun and exciting field day events that have been “battle tested” and have been given the seal of approval by many elementary and middle school aged students. This is your “One Stop Shopping” place for creating events for a successful field day. The activities are separated into Gym, Water, Blacktop, Field and Social/Recovery Events. The events have detailed descriptions (set up, equipment and directions) and colorful accompanying diagrams that match the events.

With 50 listed events, you will never run out of ideas and you will be easily be able to switch out activities each year and/or plan events for various age groups. Each year all you will have to do is pull out some events, copy them for your participants/helpers and you are ready to go.

The following 44 "fun" stations (and corresponding Station Cards) have been created as an aid for a PE Teacher, Classroom Teacher or Small Group Leader in a camp or church. The stations can be set up quickly in designated zones of a gym, classroom, field or any other playing area around your facility. These particular stations were created with the sole purpose for children to have fun performing a variety of movements and tasks using equipment you might find in a typical school, camp or church facility.
All 44 of the activities are suitable for boys and girls and can be adapted to match your equipment and facility constraints. Since there are 44 Station cards, you can easily mix them up throughout the school year or camp/church season and have more than enough activities to use for many classes or sessions. The cards provide brief directions with entertaining graphics and also include the motor skill or concept addressed during the movement.
The following printable display signs were created as a visual aid showcasing 7 of the most common fitness tests utilized by current practicing physical education teachers. The signs include the following tests:
1. One Mile Run/Walk, 2. Pacer/Beep Test, 3. Curl-Up, 4. Push-Up, 5. Sit and Reach, 6. Trunk Lift. and 7. Flexed Arm Hang
Each individual Fitness Testing sign has been uniquely created with vibrant colors and attractive text. The signs provide instructions for each test and list the fitness component being tested. The signs also include exciting graphics that grab the students’ attention. The signs can be displayed in key areas of your gym to be highlighted during assessment. They can also be used to reinforce the fitness-related concepts you cover during your class.

You can use them as a “warm up” for another skill or sport unit or use them as your base lesson(s) during a “personal fitness unit”. Since they require “maximum effort”, these stations should be shorter in duration than skill stations, probably around 30 seconds to 3 minutes. With 44 stations that span all components of physical fitness, you can “mix them up” throughout the school year or camp/church season and have more than enough activities to use for many classes or sessions. The cards provide brief directions with entertaining graphics. If you lack the equipment or space for one or more of the stations, feel free to adapt it in whatever way best meets the needs of your children and your unique situation.

he following activity; ABC…"Energize Me” is a “high energy, fun and organized” classroom activity that gives your students a chance to move their bodies in a number of ways, while learning to recognize the Upper and Lower Case letters of the Alphabet.
ABC…Energize Me does not require any equipment and can be used as a “Brain Break” or as a functional, letter recognition lesson. It can also be utilized in the gym or outside by a classroom or PE teacher if students need to move their bodies in a larger space.
You can show the cards and do a whole group activity where all of the students perform the same movement at the same time (while you reinforce letter recognition). You could also set up “station” or “center” areas throughout the room and have your students rotate to each letter card and movement.
