At school, a kickball tournament can be a great PE activity for the end of a school year or semester. A kickball tournament can take place either indoors in a large facility (preferably a gym with a sport court or carpet floor) or outdoors on a blacktop or soft grassy area or even better on a regulation baseball/softball diamond if one is available at or near your school or church

Inside the packet are 30 separate PE Skill puzzles that include rep or time counts and a detailed activity plan that lists the: 1. Overview, 2. Grade levels, 3. SHAPE Standards, 4. Equipment, 5. Set Up, 6. Directions, 7. Modifications, and 8. A Diagram.

The PE Alphabet Word Wall Display is a valuable resource that was designed to give physical education teachers the ability to easily display commonly used PE and Health-related words in their teaching areas. The product was developed using attractive and kid-friendly graphics, borders and font. This physical education resource was inspired by a request from Kentucky PE teacher, Jodi Sims, who was also instrumental in the word development and overall editing of the product.
Inside the main PDF file, of this packet, you will find an oval-shaped graphic for each of the 26 letters and 6 PE-related words (all except for the letters X and Y, which have 3 words each) that correspond with each letter. Three words fit on one 8 1/2 by 11 inch page so they are big enough for a large gym wall. The letters and words are framed in similar colors and a kid-friendly sport image accompanies each letter. A separate, editable Power Point file is included in the zip folder that allows you to build your own displayable PE words. The editable file uses the same colors as the main PDF file so that you can match them up with the display letters.
The display word font in the main PDF folder was constructed using BD Cartoon Shout however, the editable file has a more common font (Courier New) that many people already have in their PowerPoint programs. Since it is a truly editable file, you can always change the font to something else that you desire.
The PE Alphabet Word Wall Display is an excellent way for you to discuss with your students terms that you commonly use during your daily PE lessons. The words in the main PDF file cover a diverse age group of students (2nd – 10th grades), however using the editable word building file, you can easily tailor your Alphabet Words to meet the needs of your specific student age group.

PUMP UP THE VOLUME!!!
The following fitness activity, What’s on Your Plate- Valentine’s Day Fitness Edition is a “high energy, fun and organized” PE Valentine-themed activity that can easily be used as a warm up, cool down, or extended as a “stand alone” activity during fitness instruction. Thirty, circular signs with corresponding fitness movements were created to help develop your students' personal fitness during those challenging weeks in the dead of the Winter. Your students will love the movement exercises and the Valentine-related graphics. They will want to repeat the activity many times during the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day.
This fitness activity can be used in a gym setting, in a classroom or anywhere that you have some space to have kids perform some stationary exercises and movement skills in small groups. The “What’s on Your Plate- Valentine's Day Fitness Edition” is very easy to set up and can last anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, depending upon the duration you use per rotational movement set.
After printing and laminating the circular exercise and movement “plates”, spread them out on the floor around your room or gym, use UPBEAT music for start and stop cues; then let the students let loose and “move it, move it”!!! It is as simple as that. Don’t forget to demonstrate each movement or better yet, have selected students demonstrate the movements first before you begin the process.
NOTE: Some of the graphics and Valentine's Day sayings on the exercise plates are similar to the graphics and sayings in my PE Valentine Exercise Cards and 4 Valentine's Day Activities, however the size of the circular plates are much larger than the exercise cards and both product activities are quite different.
The PE Valentine Exercise Cards and Valentine’s Day Activities were designed for Kindergarten through 5th grade students.
The 7 Habits in PE printable display signs used for this product were created by Cap’n Pete adapting Steven R Covey’s habits and principles from his book entitled “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.
