A simple poster explaining what PSHE is. There are three versions of this, one for PSHE, one for “Values” and one for Personal Development. All are the same except for the title and image.
Each of the sheets included here are simple PSHE and/or life skills activities that can be set as a homework for your KS2 or KS3 classes or given out as a starter activity in lesson. Each sheet should only take 10-15 minutes to complete. There are various topics included here, from gangs to mental health and wellbeing to budgeting for a supermarket shop. All are fully editable.
Here are two schemes of work on LGBTQ+, resources adapted from various LGBTQ+ charities and educators. Offered here for free and set out in two booklets.
When teaching the LGBTQ+ voices it is important to also stress the positive changes and the people who fought for those changes. It is always best not to teach about oppression in isolation.
A series of double-sided worksheets on key events in the news from late 2022 to early 2023. These sheets are great as starter activities or for form time. Each of these articles links to a news website and asks about the British Values. These are also good for comprehension.
Included here are two short lessons, one on Breast Cancer and one on Testicular Cancer. These would be good alongside demonstrations using models, etc., or alongside talks from externals.
Here is a PSHE booklet on healthy eating. It can be taught to a class or assigned as independent work. It asks pupils to create a meal plan and introduces different food groups an the healthy eating table. It can be edited and also evidences an AQA unit award.
This lesson focuses on use of sharps and safe disposal of sharps. It is presented as a booklet, is fully editable, and can be used to evidence an AQA unit award.

Included in this pack are three booklets, one focussing on Autism and communication challenges, the other on Asperger’s syndrome, and the third on ASD more broadly. These can also be used to evidence AQA unit awards.
This is quite a long booklet focussing on the drugs education elements of PSHE. This booklet contains activities for pupils to complete and can be taught in a lesson or assigned as independent work. It is fully editable. It can also evidence an AQA unit award.

A short enrichment scheme designed for black history month, to be taught in form time or as part of PSHE. This scheme also includes an art-based activity. It is two lessons long and should take two hours to teach.
A short scheme of work on puberty, aimed at KS3. This can also be completed as home learning as the booklet is designed to work with or without teacher input (although teacher input is always best!). This 19-page booklet focuses primarily on biology and brain chemistry and spans two lessons, which should be around an hour long each.
A short scheme of work, in word format, on smoking and vaping. This is a resource aimed at KS3. It can also be used for home-learning as the booklet is laid out in a way that means it can be self-taught if necessary. There are 2 lessons in this scheme, each designed to take around an hour with teacher input.
A 4-lesson scheme of work on extremism and radicalisation, to be taught as part of PSHE. This scheme is designed to target KS3/lower KS4, but is fully editable and adaptable. It includes drama scenarios, comprehension activities, and links to videos/useful clips. This scheme can be taught by a class teacher or assigned as home learning as the booklet is fully follow-along-able.
This PSHE scheme of work focuses on first aid and the concept of kindness, with an additional short appendix on careers in health. This booklet can be self-led or taught to a class, and so is perfect for home learning as well as school learning. This scheme should last approximately 2.5 hours and would be perfect alongside a demonstrative lesson/workshop.
This scheme is fully editable, and as of June 2023 now contains an additional worksheet on basic first aid as a separate attachment.
A short 3-lesson scheme of work on marriage, relationships, and forced marriage, with an extension task on the Forced Marriage Unit (FMU). This can be taught in class to a group or assigned as independent learning. It is also great for cover teachers or form tutors to follow.
