These are the 2019 planning and presentations for the topics of Judaism and Islam in Come and See (as directed by Liverpool Archdiocese). This resource includes, for each religion, planning and a Powerpoint to use alongside it. The PP uses images from the Come and See website, as prescribed in their own planning document. The planning uses the Learning Foci and has differentiated tasks throughout. The learning tasks are varied and differentiated for the children. RE is taught through Art, Speaking and Listening and Written tasks.

This is a carefully planned set of four lessons using the National Curriculum as guidance. This Unit of Work includes a Mosaic Assessment and Review, lesson plans, lesson resources, assessment sheets, review sheets and power points. (Some PP’s are adapted from Twinkl products.) All sheets are editable, so you can adapt them for your cohort. I have used these with my class and the lessons worked well, with the children enjoying the process, and result of, making Mosaics.

Geography skills - map reading, Geographical vocabulary, comparing and assessing, and more - are introduced, built on and tested throughout this lesson block. IT is involved in each lesson and the children are encouraged to use this independently to aid their learning.
