This lesson / resource is for Breakeven Analysis with the following learning objectives and been designed GCSE and iGCSE Business Studies. This lesson follows on from a lesson on costs, revenues and profit (available here) This is possibly enough for two double lessons (one double for a reasonably advanced group). Learning objectives/Outcomes: Know the two different ways to calculate breakeven Understand how Variable Costs, Fixed Costs, Total Costs and Revenue allow a business to calculate breakeven Know how to calculate the margin of safety Understand why a business might use Breakeven Analysis This download includes: A full lesson PowerPoint Step by step examples Printable case study with answers Extension Task with answers Worksheet to check understanding with answers Printable Vocabulary check Printable starter of key terms All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1 hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required. The aim of all my resources is to provide lessons / activities of good quality that will add value to your lessons / schemes of work without any extra planning. All activities and resources have been used in class and any errors will be fixed and resources updated as soon as I am aware of any errors.
