I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

Mean and Standard Deviation Of Raw Data

(0)
This is the first of 3 sets of questions on Summary Statistics. Sheet 1 - raw data Sheet 2 - frequency tables Sheet 3 - grouped frequency tables Questions are asked in a helpful manner, though essentially they are all “Find Mean, Variance and Standard Deviation in context” and then interpret your answer. Answers and a formula sheet are included only in the full set of sheets which we offer at a good price. Please note that the formula for standard deviation differs for MEI so please ensure that you use the correct sheet for your board.

Median & Quartiles of Grouped and Continuous Data

(0)
The pdf consists of 7 questions on finding the median and quartiles of both grouped and continous data. For continous data we should be using cumulative frequency graphs and the questions are suitable for such, but I originally used the sheet to teach linear interpolation so most of the questions are based on grouped discrete data. Answers are included.

Revise Algebra for Higher GCSe grades 5 - 6

This is a huge document that I use for revision with Higher level / lower ability pupils aiming for grades 5 - 6. There are 3 PDF files consisting of 60 questions of GCSE standard - one looks like and exam paper, one has all the spaces taken out and the third has answers on. The booklets should take around 6 hours at exam pace and covers all the algebra required at that level. I have found these to be tremendously successful and pupils have always appreciated them

Compound Angles - With Answers

(0)
This pd.f consists of 40 questions of 8 different types all involving compound angles. (I think one question uses double angles but that is fair game). This set of questions is ideal for end of topic or revision as some of the questions involve surds and algebraic manipulation. My students have always found this topic a little cumbersome and books rarely do it justice so these questions provide a bridge between what is in text books and what to expect in the exams. ** Answers are included.**
