Second series of 'quick questions' on AS level work- cross over for all syllabus's

(1)
These are a series of simple quick questions that cover the key points on each topic. Energetics/amount of substance/ mass spec/analysis/bonding/Ionisation energy and atomic structure. If the students find their notes cannot help them ...their notes aren't good enough and need to be improved. I like this for start of revision to give a guide on what needs to be gone over and the basic level of knowledge required.

This is a full 20+ page pwpt that takes you through the Acid/Alkali titration curve and indicator section of this topic. It has varied pair/share -thinking-theory tasks for the students as well as all the notes required and a good amount of specific past exam questions in the whole topic. I have also put in a couple of past paper questions which can be homework for this section. Enjoy

There are 2 game based resources to help engage the students in reviewing the key experimental terms for their GCSE science exams. Starter Powerpoint on MOLES topic for GCSE chemistry

This is a introductory powerpoint that takes you through all the basic Mole work It has the Moles = Mass/ Mr equation explained in full with several example and then follow up questions. The equation has been manipulated in further examples. Go over Molar Ratio link to balanced equations. This is then linked to the moles equations. A set method to help work out these questions is covered which I have found really useful for all levels. Then there are worked examples and then worked questions at the end. Overall a nice section of work for this topic in all GCSE spec's.
