A good way to end the lesson. Press the spin button and see what social media themed plenary it will land on students then end the lesson in the task. Click on the app and the activity will appear to increase interest and engagement I’ve also created it in a dice format and five each group one to use and they can do this on their own and if under running complete two. Students really liked this task.

Timers give 1 or 3 minutes before they go off. The Volcano explodes with smoke and brimstone, with sound effects, whilst the iceberg melts away into the sea, the rain-forest timer starts a monsoon which ends after animals try to escape the rain and ends when the rain stops. These work well as hot seat activities, students have to answer as many questions or define as many key words before their time runs out.

The ometer acts as a class meter reading on a debate question, students vote by clicking agree or disagree button and the needle will move with each vote till the last one which will show the class average and a discussion can follow. Use the class voter to carry out a class poll on their opinions to a question. Work well when comparing who they think is the most important person. The shoot out works by splitting the class into teams. Ask the students questions and if they get it right they can press shoot button and keep score of the item that was shot.
