This is a mixer activity. It deals with 12 facts about South America (La ciudad perdida de los Incas en el Perú se llama Machu Picchu). There are 36 distinctive student sheets; each has 1 of the 12 facts that needs to be shared with others and 4 questions (information to be gotten from classmates). Students mingle asking their questions until they find all of their answers.

Word search has 66 words hidden that are used to describe objects in French. Includes higher level vocabulary such as materiel, cuir, carton, forme, carré, épais, mou, étroit. Word list is not on student sheets in order to make it more challenging. 5 versions included.

Students are to record answers received; all answers are using manger + partitive, either positive or negative. Students must also answer their classmates’ questions. Students must listen and the one with that verb in Spanish reads it and then the new verb. Students continue until all cards are used and the “I finish” card is read.
