This is a lesson on Critical Religious Education (Critical realism) It is about exploring worldviews and understanding everyone is starting in different places, the homework would be to ask the questionnaire to someone else. The questions are adapted from the work of the CRE team at King's College London - Credit to them for the rational and concepts of this SOW.

This is part of a unit introducing RE and the skills and process of doing it. There is a card sort for the skills in RS open ended differentiation. There is also an activity around building arguments, we didn't get to this in 45 minute lessons but it is there as an option. There is also the syllogism game I developed, this is great fun with my year 9s and some of the absurdities generated can be hilarious!

Here is the first of a half terms worth of lessons, introducing RS. The emphasis is on the skills for the subject, the nature of investigations, asking questions. Included is the work sheet, they write 'ultimate questions' in the question mark. Looks good if they do them colourful!
