Instructions:
The learner will think of 12 words that are associated with this TV show. They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet.
Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.

Scenario: You are trapped inside of the Grinche’s house! Your only way out is to solve a coded message. Solve it or you will be trapped inside forever!
Instructions
• There are nine clues hidden around the room.
• You need to locate all nine clues and then you will need to solve them in order
• Five of the clues will reveal different letters of the alphabet. There are grey boxes on the clue sheet for you to write these down, as well as space on your answer sheet. When you have noted down all of the letters, you will then unscramble the letters to reveal a seasonal related phrase.
• The four other clues will reveal four separate numbers. You will add these numbers together to reveal a 5-digit number. This will be the last part of the code.
• Once you have ‘cracked’ both codes, you will then be able to escape from the Grinche’s house!
