Some children need a little more inspiration to get involved with maths. I have created this maths pack with a, football theme, to inspire children who have an interest in the sport. Here is a very simple word search for early readers. As opposed to a whole grid of sounds to search through to find their word, the child only needs to search through one line. There are 5 word searches with tricky words to find.

Make story writing easy with this pack of 50 cards. Split into 5 categories - Place, character, plot, problem and saviour. Child can pick a card from each category and read aloud making up the story as they go. It can also be used for ideas to write their own story. Cards in the character and saviour categories can obviously be switched round and more than one character can be chosen.
