I am always looking for ideas to consolidate topics which my students have learnt. This simple activity recaps and revises: name/age/nationality/hair/colour/clothes/opinions/propositions/verbs. Children are given the picture and have to find as many sentences as poss. which describe something in the picture. I have included a sample of sentences to give an idea. Possibilities are endless. Children have to see how many of those sentences they can find. Stickers for those who find different ones and to the person who finds the most. Ideal for pair work. Feedback is always valued.

French School Subjects - board game

Snakes and ladder game to reinforce school subjects/days of the week/time and the phrase ‘J’étudie…’. More able students could also give opinions on the subjects which they land on. Rules for playing the game differ slightly to those of regular snakes and ladders. Back onto card and laminate to make the game more durable. I have also added a 2nd game. The idea with this one is to use the expressions: I like/love/hate/don’t like. 2ticks=I love, 1tick=I like, 2crosses=I hate and 1 cross=I don’t like. Feedback is always very welcome.

A simple song describing the start of a school day. Song to the tune 'If you&'re happy and you know it&';. Credit for this goes to 'sagramor&' who has the powerpoint to this song. Thank you again for allowing me to make this worksheet. The 2nd verse is one that I have made up. I added this as the children I teach are currently learning the names for school subjects. Feedback is always appreciated.

Revises names of animals, colours, days of the week and opinions (love, like, hate, detest). Feedback is always welcome.

Came across this video on youtube which I just had to share. The song, about colours, is so catchy the students will learn it in no time at all and they should have fun singing it too. Feedback is always welcome.

Worksheets on a Christmas theme using the prepositions: behind, in front of, near to, inbetween, under and next to. Could be used to revise propositions and Christmas vocabulary. For L/A children I have made gap-fill worksheets where just the proposition word is missing As my students have learnt propositions and Christmas Vocabulary I though this was a good way of testing what they remember. Feedback is always appreciated. Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année a tous.
