Mon calendrier de l'Avent

A cut and stick activity for students to make their own advent calendar. I have purposly omitted any written words as this is for children who are already familiar with Christmas vocabulary. The idea is that when they open a window they have to name the revealed image. I have included pics in black and white for those of you who are not able to print in colour. Feedback is always valued and appreciated. Have a great Christmas everyone. 'Joyeux Noël et bonne année à tous&'.

A simple graduated fill-in activity to the introduction of the phrase 'I have ....&' and &';I don't have ....&' . Uses everyday objects. Some boxes have been left blank for the children to draw their own pictures. I have added a more challenging worksheet for the more able students. This acts as a revision for naming objects they already know and using a dictionary to find the words of objects that they do not know.

A book to make about 40 spiders in the haunted castle of Monsieur Patatras. Simple dialogue. Ideal for reinforcing: il y a, rooms in a house together with prepositions and of course counting to 40. Story ends with a question which will promote lots of opportunity for conversation. I have included intructions of how to make the mini book. You will need to make 2 books to accomodate all the pages. I used black paper to make my books. I'm sure the students will love this story for Halloween.
