Children can colour in the pictures
A bumper resource to support learning the alphabet, phonics and reading for EYFS and KS1.
The first poster shows a colour picture for each letter of the alphabet. Children can use this as a worksheet adding either the first sound or the word.
Laminate this and it can be useful in the writing corner.
The second sheet is a replica of the first, but in black and white. Children love to colour this in, either using the colour pictures to copy or using their own colours.
Next there is the full alphabet in both colour and black and white with a letter/word for each page.
Each page shows a picture, the word and has some letters for children to overwrite.
Again, laminate for the writing corner and use dry markers for lots of use and writing practice.

Children name the pictures and then say the initial sounds.
More able children can spell the words.
The slides are animated so that each letter appears with a click.
