All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I find some free coding to create a new type of activity and then find some suitable content. Any content can be adapted to any activity. All I need is feedback and requests.

They are created as TEMPLATES for online interactive resources.
So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH.
If the concept works PLEASE let me know and I will add other TEMPLATES I have created.
The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated.
They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular.
As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic.
Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2.

Using the “zooming” coding I simply chose, in this case a fruit, and googled a number of simple facts which become the “zooming descriptions” with a picture as the final clue. The possibilities for this simple type of activity could provide endless learning for all levels of ability.

Version 2 adds an aspect of differentiation to the activity. By inserting pictures into a 3x3 grid and then taking a screenshot of the result I can now insert that into a format I already had.
This now becomes an identification activity as the 9 pictures can be of any topic grouping thus expanding its capability.
All of the pictures and all of the text can be replaced with your own content.

Florence Nightingale [WRITING STORYBOARDS ] uses the same simple cataloguing code for the pictures and the “tooltips” coding for the information.
The only addition is coding for a simple text box into which learners can type their story. Sadly, the text isn’t kept but a “screenshot” of the page would give a record of the work.
