This is a full unit of work aimed at KS3 introducing them to vocal techniques in Drama. The SOW includes a PowerPoint presentation that is all ready to go, six detailed lesson plans and all the resources needed. The SOW spans over six lessons but could easily be spread over seven or eight lessons. The module also includes an assessment and assessment criteria.

Unit 1 - This SOW is based around the Titanic disaster and spans over 7 lessons. Each lesson explores a different aspect of the Titanic and includes differing drama skills. The PowerPoint is ready to be used in your lessons and can be easily adapted depending on the age group. This SOW also includes an assessment (practical and written). For this project you will need to purchase a copy of a script (I have provided a link).
Unit 2 - This unit of work is an extension from my Titanic unit. This SOW looks at the conspiracies behind Titanic and uses drama as a tool to explore history. Within the unit students will learn about different individuals on the ship and improve their character skills. They will learn new techniques, complete written and practical tasks. The unit also involves a large amount of reading and encourages students to rehearse independently with less involvement/ aid from the teacher. The PowerPoint is ready to be used in lessons and all resources needed are attached.

This unit of work spans over six lessons and is aimed at a high ability KS3 class. The SOW explores five females artists and uses their work to inspire Drama performances. Each week a different artists work is explored using a different drama skill/technique each lesson. This unit of work could easily be combined with art to provide a comprehensive overview of each artist. This SOW is easily adaptable for all classes/ ages/ abilities. Some wider issues are explored in this topic and ties in with British values & inclusive practices.

This a short scheme of work for LAMDA teachers to help children learn the skills they may need to pass their exams. The list of current poems are also attached. Let the Right One In follows the story of a teenage boy named Oskar, and a 200 year old vampire named Eli, who is stuck in the body of a teenager. Set in 1980’s Sweden, the story surrounds the love story between the two. Oskar lives with his mother in their flat in Blackeberg. He is bullied horribly by Jonny and Micke, two boys in his class.
