This resource consists of 1 PowerPoint and 7 sources. This revision lesson focuses on why the Tsar was forced to abdicate in March 1917 and also revises source skills too. Students are required to analyse sources to answer three different styles of questions, each of which they will face in their exams.

This resource consists of a single 1 hour revision PowerPoint covering how the Tsar survived the 1905 revolution. It first recaps what students can remember and then encourages them to use their notes to add extra information. Finally students are required to use all the knowledge they have recalled to answer the lesson question.

This resource consists of more than 50 keyword revision cards and a PowerPoint covering the topic of Tsardom and Communism from 1894-1945 for the new AQA GCSE 1-9 specification. Each keyword has the word and a definition which can be printed out and folded to create a keyword game. I played this with my classes and they increased their knowledge from as little as 2 keywords and definitions to 25 after a one hour lesson. Instructions on how to play the game are also included on the PowerPoint. **The keywords cover the following topics: The Tsar Provisional Government and Lenin Stalin**
