This product is a fun and interesting animal fable in Spanish, which can be used to introduce some forest animals and body parts. It is a Google slide show with the story illustrated, followed by five comprehension questions about the story. It can be used as a theatrical play, presented at a school event ( I use the slides to introduce the play to my students, then we prepare to present the play as an end-of-the year project/event. It has been a successful and my students really enjoy this story.

The handout for the students is included, where they answer questions about the places in town and the modes of transportation they see on the pictures. It is activity that should be integrated into a unit about places in town and transportation in Spanish. This is a lesson that introduces the places in the city and the ways of transportation as well as the conjugation of the verb ir (to go) and the use of the preposition a in front of the definite articles el, la, los and las. The lesson evolves around the story of a young girl Zoe, who has to leave the city, where she grew up due to a war, and she marks all her favorite places in the city on a map that she takes with her. It is based on the book El mapa de los buenos momentos by Fran Nuño and Zuzanna Celej. Along with the story and the introduction of the vocabulary of the city and the grammar there are many activities included that reinforce the learning, such as: Two Pear Deck interactive activities- one to practice the vocabulary and the other with comprehension questions (I have included a link to the Google slides, which is required for the Pear Deck- if you cannot do the activity as a Pear Deck, you could do it as a class discussion); Flash cards of the vocabulary for places in the city and transportation that the students have to label in Spanish; Four grammar activities with ir a… An independent activity A Jeopardy game. The students will virtually go to Normandy, France where they will visit the house museum of Monet, who takes us to a French restaurant. The famous painter explains how to make la salade niçoise and les crêpes. Your students will learn about the use of and practice le partitif.
