This 3-page file includes:
~A Spanish biography about the life of Spanish poet Federico García Lorca. It discusses his childhood, education, personal life, all of his major works and his death during the Spanish Civil War. The reading includes a glossary of new vocabulary and 8 reading comprehension questions in Spanish based on the reading.

Au Centre Ville Lecture en Français: French Reading on Places Around Town
This easy French reading is a script between three friends that run into each other doing errands around town. They discuss where they are going and where they have been and their plans for that night. Students can see prepositions in context regarding places around town. (à la/au etc.) Reading includes a glossary of new vocabulary.
Includes 2 versions of the reading, with 10 true/false questions in English OR French for differentiated learning.

Activity idea: Put students in groups of three to read the script and then have them talk about where around town they are headed this week.
