This is an art based activity using Photoshop to design the cover of a magazine. You can also use this activity for a Media lesson or a Graphic Design lesson. In this activity I show you how to design a magazine front cover using Adobe Photoshop. However, you can also design this in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign. This is a step-by-step activity which demonstrates using key tools in Adobe Photoshop. For example, using the move tool, crop tool, text tool and many others. Also, I cover layers, how to organise layers and how to name them. You do not need to have any prior knowledge or skills in order to use this resource. You can simply follow the instructions and deliver it to your class. I have used this resource many times with my class and had great success with it. Students were keen to learn and they experimented with different tools. This is a free resource. If you use it or find value in it, please leave a review. It takes time and energy to create resources on a daily basis. Your input is much appreciated.
