I use these activities when teaching adults spreadsheets. This is a progression the Level 2 exercise including data input and a little more complex formulae inputting and alteration and they are useful as extra resources for those that are getting well ahead or for just getting them to do the same tasks until they are comfortable

I used this with adults completing ITQ to carry out the initial steps in using an IT system (eg turning on a personal computer (PC) and using a mouse to navigate around a screen); and operate hardware and software day-to-day (eg a PC) operating systems and software that is suitable for the task in hand).

These are mock tests that I use with adult students. They are from an older version of ECDL but is still relevant to those learning the jargon, security aspects and 'behind the scenes&' aspects of PC usage.

Each test consists of 8 open questions, which are constructed to elicit 3 or 4 knowledge facts. The first 6 questions have 4 marks available and the last 2 questions have 3 marks available in each test. An indication is given after each question to show the number of marks available for the question. Where 3 marks are available in the question three knowledge facts or points are anticipated in the answer. Where 4 marks are available in the question four knowledge facts or points are anticipated in the answer.
