KS2 Guided Reading Worksheets, Cut Out Thinking Hats And Thinking Hats In Reading Display

(0)
Thinking Hats can be found in schools, businesses and a wide range of industries. I have created a set of resources for Key Stage 2 resources to use with almost any reading book. The worksheets are not linked to any book or any particular reading scheme and can be used more than once. These worksheets allow students to examine the same book from 6 different angles and so get a lot more from their reading experiences. These worksheets also provide a real reason to read their books carefully. I have used Thinking Hats a lot in the classroom and have found them to really motivate students to read more. These worksheets can also be used as a useful homework worksheet resource.

30 Hour ESL Elementary Speaking Exercises for the Australian Topic, 31 Teaching Ideas And 30 Photos

I have decided to collect together great ESL worksheets on Australia and share them with other teachers. I really love the final outcome. I hope you do to! This particular Australian Topic Unit is packed full of different activities and ideas for you to try. There is a 30 hour talking topic book. There are additional questions to solve in the addition worksheets about Australia, there is a whole photo pack about life in Australia and of course there are 31 different teaching activities for you to try which are connected to the Photo Flashcard pack. Some of these resources were originally public domain. However, I have cleaned them up, removed the excessive links to the original website, added lots of new and interesting photos linked to the topics and as you can see, thrown in a lot of different extra activities on top. I collected together 30 hours of ESL teaching resources about the topic of health, medicine and illness. It is a really great way of teaching! The original was a free public domain document. I took this document, removed all the promotional hyperlinks and logos from every page, as well as adding colourful, interesting images to each page to give it all a more professional image. The idea is to get students talking more in their English classes. 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets Book 2 + Answers

101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets Book 2 + Answers

(0)
Like the first version of 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/101-ks1-grammar-sats-revision-worksheets-11189210), it is packed with 101 printable worksheets for teaching and improving grammar skills in English. The topics are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that cover the basics, like the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time; then tenses (a lot about tenses!), then irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and so on! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this one. Around 25% of the worksheets in this book are closely modelled on activities in BGB 1, for example Full Stops 1 (pp.68-69). The material starts off at beginner level, with the alphabet worksheets, then gets progressively more difficult. Only towards the end do things get “tougher”, with articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs making their inevitable appearance! Don’t worry – all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book. English teachers can use Another 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets in class, although it may be better to use the worksheets for homework and let students focus on speaking and listening and group work – producing language – in class. It is ideal for private study – i.e. homework or self-study – and also for use in online lessons. Teachers can adapt the worksheets in this book, and I would positively encourage them to treat many of the pages as templates for producing their own activities. For example, the sentence building worksheets (from p.60) would be ideal for adaptation, among many others. I hope you enjoy learning English with Another 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets! Remember, a good understanding of English grammar will open doors of opportunity. Please note: This was originally marketed under the title Big Grammar Book 2. If you have bought this title, you do not need to buy this book.

Are you learning English as a second language (ESL)? Are you looking for a fun way to learn English as a second language? I have developed a way to learn different languages based on my experience as an ESL teacher. This pack has 57 different settings for students to talk about in English as a second language. The worksheets themselves are in English and the students do need to translate the places and objects they see into English as a second language. At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone! * Please note - these resources provide visual prompts, not specific language instruction. ESL Bingo pack: This is a simple starter game for students. There are 114 different pictures to choose from. Select a single picture and project the image on the wall or share it with the class as a handout. Let's Talk in ESL!: This set of cards looks at 57 different settings. The teacher describes something in the top card. The students then use this to model a sentence using the bottom set of pictures. There are lots of things to see and describe in every picture. When the students have completed this task, they can repeat it by working in pairs to discuss each picture. Let's Write in ESL pack: There are lots of ways of using this teaching pack. It could be used as writing assessment for students learning ESL. The students could write about a topic in ESL before and then after a topic, using the second worksheet at the end of the topic.

24 Self Correcting Mental Maths Quizzes For Year 6

(0)
Are you looking for Mental Maths Revision Quizzes for Year 6? I have written 24 self marking sets of Mental Maths quizzes for students. The quizzes are similar to those students use for their Year 6 SATS exams. When a student has completed a test, they can instantly see what they got correct, and what they need to work on. The front page of this Excel file is especially interesting for teachers as it provides a summary of the scores the students have achieved as both a table and a bar chart. The teacher simply downloads the Excel file and renames in the student's name. The student could complete these tests at home or in the classroom.
