This has an information sheet about Black Friday and 15 different questions for the children to answer. Some open and some closed.

I created this sheet based on Excitable Edgar (The John Lewis Advert) to use with my class. Lots of the questions are open questions and could have various answers, hence I haven’t made an answer sheet. There is a link to the video which needs to be watched before the activity

I created these sheets with the Year 6 Reading Buddies in my school- so they had a focus of what to write when listening to children read. So it wasn’t always just ‘Well done’ or ‘Good Reading’ It gave them an area of focus. Then some parents asked if they could have it to use at home when they are listening to children read and said it has been helpful. The first sheet is a table to record on and second sheet is a grid to help with comments to write to asses the child’s reading

My class have really enjoyed learning the story of the firebird. Years 3-6. I created this cloze activity to help with the understanding of the story for the SEN children in my class and it was very successful.

I love the Iron Man and have done it several times over the years with years 3, 4 and 5 The kids love it! Here is loads of stuff from notebook files, to worksheets to all sorts of other resources. I made this Christmas powerpoint to use for the last 8 days of term. It will be the early morning work but all with a seasonal twist. I created this pack to use with my class next week for a whole school RE day with a Christmas theme. It could be done over several lessons though. There is a clear and easy to follow lesson plan. A powerpoint which clearly follows the plan A worksheet There are great creative links to art and design and lots of whole class discussions/whiteboard activities etc. I have just updated this Powerpoint and improved it slightly to use this year with my class across a few days. My class have been doing the book ‘How to train your dragon’ and a topic on Vikings- Years 4, 5 and 6. These grids I made as English Coordinator for children to stick in the front of their book and use to assess their writing. They have been very successful. Pack includes : Year 3 Year 4 Year 5 Year 6 Greater Depth The resources are colourful and contain examples. They have helped us to embed grammar throughout the school and writing has improved throughout.
