In order to have a great New Year, write down 8 New Year’s resolutions using ir + a + infinitive. Your resolutions could be about anything: academics, sports, health, house chores, finding a job etc. Now, work with a partner and read orally each resolution. Your partner will offer advice on how to best carry out each resolution using the present subjunctive. If you choose not to use the present subjunctive, you can start off with an impersonal expression like “es importante” followed by infinitive.
