Stem change verbs original sentences (no collaboration or on-line translators)
For each stem change type, write the stem change (e-ie , e-i, o-ue) where needed or the present tense ending for nosotros and vosotros and then add 5-6 words to create an original sentence. Sentences must be 7 words minimum. Post the word count at the end of every sentence. Sentences cannot be repetitive (using the same words over and over).
There are 6 sentences per stem change type (e-ie / u-ue, e-i, o-ue) for a total of 18 sentences
Verbs included:
E-IE: querer, empezar, pensar, preferir, mentir, perder
U:UE: jugar
E-I: pedir, servir, repetir, decir, competir, seguir
O-UE: dormir, poder, volver, devolver, encontrar, almorzar

Irregular preterit practice: conjugations and sentences
12 verbs included:

Part 1: For each verb, write the stem in the blanks provided. Note: For irregular verbs the stems are different, but the endings are the same. The only difference is for J stem verbs, the 3rd person ending is eron. (12 verbs total in this section)
Part 2: Write 6 original sentences with the guidelines provided
Practice: Present subjunctive
For each set of sentences, choose the correct present subjunctive verb and then add 3-4 words or more to expand on the sentence.
There are 15 sentences total. Answer key is included with the verb only.

This practice is a worksheet to practice writing and answering original information questions with irregular verbs in the preterit.
Students will write and answer 12 questions total.

For each irregular verb, follow these guidelines:

Present subjunctive sentence practice (no on-line translators)
Combine elements from column A (introductory verbs), column B (que), column C (present subjunctive verb) and add 3-4 words to create an original sentence. Elements from columns A and C can be used in any order as long as they make sense and have 2 different subjects (persons). You will write a total of 15 sentences in the template below.
This product is a practice packet on the imperfect tense in Spanish. (5 pages total)
Section 1: Conjugate the 7 infinitives for all 6 persons in the imperfect.
Section 2: Complete each short paragraph in the imperfect. There is one paragraph for -ar, -er, -ir (5 sentences each) and one paragraph for ser, ir, ver (3 sentences each). Note: The paragraphs do not link to any vocabulary or theme.

Present subjunctive sentence writing practice
Students will write a total of 10 sentences in the template provided.
For each sentence create 2 subjects (people). You can use subject pronouns (yo, tú etc and names of people) but do not repeat any subjects.
Conjugate the introductory verb for subject 1 in the present tense and conjugate the second verb in the present subjunctive for subject 2.
Write a minimum 8 word sentence. Post the word count at the end of the sentence.
Subjunctive formula for writing sentences:
Subject 1 + introductory verb (present tense) + que + subject 2 + present subjunctive verb + rest of the sentence
A change of subject is required for every sentence.
