A full lesson and set of activities (with linked free downloadable sheets) to complete learning into The Transatlantic Slave Trade with the focus on the Trade Triangle, and the Middle Passage. This lesson looks into helping students understand what slavery is and what different types of slavery there has been throughout history; it allows students to understand why transatlantic slavery is so significant. There are links to websites useful for research and many different types of activities to keep students focused and involved in the lesson.
This resource is ready to download and teach as it is, for students of all abilities to work through.
It is clear, concise and rated outstanding in the classroom. This is part of a set of resources uploaded focusing on The Transatlantic Slave Trade.
If you have any questions, please contact me at samantha.jones.2104@icloud.com.
Thanks
A full lesson or so focusing on the Slave Auctions. A great resource for all KS3 students (may be more suitable for lower level KS4 students too) but here is being used as part of my Trans Atlantic Slave Trade topic - I have other resources connected. Suitable for both British curriculum and the international curriculum.
Attached is a great learning resource - very straight forward and easy to use. Can be used for any exam and as a fantastic supplement to whichever textbook you are using.
Excellent for PGCE students / NQTs / non-specialists as all the work has been done for you.

Cross curricular opportunities with Art.
What it says on the tin:
Primary sources - Hitler’s foreign policy; Hossbach and Mein Kampf
Two primary sources - lenghty information so useful for older students (A Level / IB)
Teacher would need to use the sources how they see fit: discussions, questionning, hmk, flipped classroom etc.
The Slave Trade - Seizure and transport
KS3/KS4 lesson on the transatlantic slave trade - part of a series of lessons. This focuses on seizure and transport of slaves - why did African’s help capture their own people? How were they transported to USA?
