These three lessons teach students how to find the mean from a set of numbers. Whether it is simply adding the number up and dividing by how many numbers there are or finding an estimate for the mean from a frequency table.

The bundle covers the function work on the new GCSE. Looking at composite functions, inverse functions and transformations of graphs.

This brings together a group of worksheets I’ve been using at school as a means of identifying which topics my higher level students are good at and which topics require further work. It consists of 12 sheets each having 12 questions pitched at the higher level for the GCSE mathematics exam.

These three lessons I usually teach towards the end of year 12 in preparation for the introduction of natural logs in calculus. The lessons introduce students to Logs, the laws of logs. The Algebra used in logs and the Natural log and exponential.
