Spain Booklets - Libritos de Espana - Introduce your students to Spanish culture! These booklets contain many things for which Spain is famous such as flamenco, bullfighting, running of the bulls, soccer, olives, castles, cathedrals, Iberian ham and Don Quixote. Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations. They then create their own version using the text only template. Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages. This item also includes suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.

Students practice subject pronouns and -ar verb conjugations. This download contains: 1. 20 simple -ar verb conjugation sentences such as "I practice in the gym." 2. 15 subject pronouns. Students must work backward by determining the subject pronoun that corresponds to either a conjugated verb such as "pescan" or a subject such as "Ronaldo". 3. Word bank of 25 common -ar verbs in both Spanish and English. This is a separate paper and copied 2 per page for student handouts. 4. Word bank with supplemental vocabulary such as "at home" for the short sentences. This vocabulary is on the worksheet. 5. Answer key

This skit features a girl asking her new friend about her family members. Como es is repeated several times, each response includes at least 2 descriptive adjectives (there are 12 different adjectives used in the skit) and each line contains a conjugation of the verb ser. The skit is short enough to memorize, yet contains a variety of family and adjectives vocabulary. The skit is copied 2 per page for student handouts and the English translation is included.

Christmas Theme Numbers and Math Listening Activity - This numbers listening activity will hold the attention of your students as they make their way around the oval writing the numbers that you dictate! After all numbers are dictated, students quickly do the math to find the correct final answer based on the numbers that they heard and wrote. They will be anxious to raise their hands and share their results! You choose the numbers for the activity so it can be used for very basic numbers or large numbers, depending on what your focus is.

This activity works well for students new to verb conjugations and is good for back to school review for upper levels of Spanish. Both verbs are fully conjugated for student reference. Spanish Toy Box Sketch and Label Activity with Vocabulary List - Students sketch and label several of their favorite toys. The download includes a 28 word vocabulary list copied 2 per page for paper saving student handouts.
