Spanish My Favorite Things - 2 Emergent Reader Booklets - Each booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing Spanish words for the following favorite things: food, book, sport, color, animal, movie, and subject. Also included is a page of suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. Students first read and cut out the booklet that contains text and illustrations, then create their own version using the text only template. Spanish Irregular Yo Verb Pair Work Las Escaleras Activity - Partners quiz each other to see who can get all vocabulary correct and climb "las escaleras", or the stairs. Once student has the answer key and the other has the infinitives with subject pronouns. After one makes it to the top of the stairs, students switch parts. The activity contains 35 irregular verb conjugations of the verbs venir, tener, oir, traer, caer, conocer, saber, poner, hacer, salir, conducir, and decir. Also included is an instruction page with suggestions for the activity. This is a good activity to use when irregular verbs are introduced and also as a review for back to school and throughout the year for upper levels.

Spanish Irregular Verbs PowerPoint Booklet Project - Students create a booklet or PowerPoint that includes irregular present tense verbs. Required sections are: -go verbs; stem change verbs; a section for ir, ir a + infinitive, ser and estar, saber and conocer; regular verbs for the sake of showing contrast between regular and irregular verbs. Students must provide full conjugations of all verbs, write 2 sentences for each, and explain the differences between ser and estar, and saber and conocer. Included in the download: 1. Spanish Ir A + Infinitive Human Bingo Game Speaking Activity - Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes to each of the 16 boxes. The grids contain school related questions such as, "Vas a montar en bici a la escuela?" or "Vas a hacer las tareas en la clase de español?" When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. When a student fills the entire grid, he shouts, "Bingo!" Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verb to the third person. Students must also write the conjugation for ir a infinitive under 6 images at the bottom of the paper. This is a great back to school review activity for students with prior Spanish experience.
