No rearranging to y = mx + c required so eliminating errors Allows solving of equations in the form ax + by + c = d Allows plotting of graphs in the form ax + by + c = d Find the gradient between two points to avoid rearranging OR as a double check Questions designed for a four quadrant grid -6>x>6 and -7>y>7
