Year 2 Writing Focus: Exploring Omar the Bees and Me and Writing About Honey Cake In Year 2, children will be reading the delightful story Omar the Bees and Me, where they’ll discover the important role bees play in the world. As we explore the book, our writing lessons will focus on improving key skills such as: Conjunctions: Linking ideas in our sentences, using words like and, but, and because.
