I'm 29, I'm currently teaching Chemistry at Verdala International School. I've been teaching for 8 years and I have a huge passion for science. I will provide learning resources for age ranges 11-18 Science, Chemistry , Biology, Physics and Environmental Systems and Societies.

I made this resource during lockdown 2021 for my year 10 students. This can be used as a revision/homework/research skills or even a cover lesson.
As always, let me know what you think of the resource.
This is the next lesson after the particle model.
Its mainly aimed at 14-16 at the end of the powerpoint as it links to distillation.
Includes exam style questions and activities.
Let me know what you think :)
I created this resource for a year 8 science week during my NQT as a science teacher. I got really good feedback from students, staff and parents about my CSI week.
The lessons were 40 minutes long in our school and this was with a low ability class. You could extend the first lesson by watching another youtube CSI:Miami video and real CSI video and talk about how its different in tv shows and real life. OR You could talk about the other tasks for the week as they can take a little longer to introduce.
Lesson 1: An introduction to crime scene investigation
Lesson 2: Trace evidence (its a very simple lesson with microscopes, you could pair it with lesson 1). Practical investigation included - Microscopes, glass slides, hair samples (animal and human), fibre samples.
Lesson 3: Blood spatter -> Practical investigation included - Equipment in pwp
Lesson 4: Drug analysis -> Practical investigation included - Droppers, UI, HCl, dimple tiles, beakers with Sodium bicarb, cornflour, citric acid and sugar.
Please let me know of any errors or mistakes as I want to learn!
I hope this made it easier for someone and helped with getting students interested in forensic science!
Here is some mixed revision on Paper 1 Chemistry (C1)
Let me know if there are any errors and leave a review please.
I really want to learn and provide good resources.
This was used for a chemistry grade 9 lesson. Can also be used for year 7 and year 9 chemistry.
Includes lesson objectives (taken from Kognity- Cambridge iGCSE Co-ordinated Sciences) and an optional Youtube video. However, the tasks are my own, including diagrams.
It includes introduction, knowledge quiz, starter, main task (differentiated for high ability and low ability), extension and exit quiz.
If there are any problems please let me know!
More to come for the topic :)
This was made by me at Verdala International School Malta!
