Bitterne Park School

BPS is an 11-19 mixed, community school and Sixth Form and is set in 18 acres of grounds overlooking the River Itchen and Riverside Park, in the bustling city of Southampton.

We are a values led, inclusive community. Our expectations are high, knowledge is valued, skills are appreciated and opportunity is developed across a broad and balanced curriculum. We aim to instil an appetite for challenge and a confidence in all our learners, so that they achieve their potential; whether in their academic studies, sporting participation, the creative and performing arts or their individual health and personal development.

Upon graduating from Bitterne Park School & Sixth Form College, our students will be equipped with a social understanding, enabling them to contribute to and value their community. As open minded and successful learners, they will be reflective, principled and flexible; qualities which will enable them to build successful and fulfilling lives and thrive in a fast-changing, global society.
