About Grange School

Grange School is a co-educational independent international school in Ikeja, Nigeria. First established in 1958, the school was founded with the intention of providing a British-style education for the children of expatriate families. The school has around 700 pupils aged 4-16, both as day and boarding pupils. The school’s boarding areas first opened in 2006, and accommodate around 100 students age 9 and above. The school operates an academically selective admissions process, and is able to boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities. These include modern sports facilities and up-to-date classrooms, as well as a notable range of music and creative arts areas, with the school’s numerous music bands being a large part of its extra-curricular line-up. In terms of academia, Grange School primarily follows the English National Curriculum, with students being taught in English and taking iGCSE examinations, being split up by the same year-group and Key Stage structure as would be seen in other British schools. Grange School is notable for being a member of the British Council of International Schools.
