About Meade Hill School

The Federation is a partnership of EBSD day and residential schools and settings within and beyond the city of Manchester.

It aims to provide:

  • Continuinity for the changing needs of EBSD pupils.
  • A flexible and responsive range of educational experiences for EBSD pupils.
  • Coherence, collaboration and support networks for teaching and support staff in each of the schools and settings.
  • A range of staff, teaching and non teaching, school and non-school based, whose role is to support vulnerable and challenging pupils within the Federation.

  • Challenging and provocative professional development which moves practice forward yet still focuses on the core purpose of teaching and learning.
  • A range of accredited vocational courses, like construction and catering.

  1. To enhance the self-esteem of all pupils and promote positive appropriate behaviour;
