We are an Ofsted “Outstanding” rated 11-16 Academy based in the friendly, North Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe. With a holistic view of education, we value vocational, practical, creative and academic abilities equally. The Ofsted report from our Inspection during November 2022 states “Staff and pupils at Outwood Academy Foxhills work, earn and excel together. This is an Outstanding school.”

Part of the Outwood Family since 2014, we are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child. We place students at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on ensuring everyone has the right to learn, with a curriculum designed to stretch and enrich our students’ experience.

Since joining the Outwood Family, we have embarked on a journey of transformation.

We have won numerous awards as a school and we have been accredited with the prestigious IQM Award with Centre of Excellence status, which highlights that inclusion at all levels is of paramount importance to us. We are also proud to have been awarded Silver Status by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health Award.

Our progress is a testament to the dedication and passion of our colleagues who have helped inspire our students, working closely with parents and carers.

We work hard to ensure we reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.
