Ribston Hall High School is a selective, grammar school for girls aged 11-16. It also has a co-educational Sixth Form. Ribston Hall converted to academy status in 2011 and has approximately 871 students on roll.

At Ribston Hall, we know that every child is different. We believe that each child's individuality should be encouraged and developed. This is achieved by offering an all-round holistic education, where we value all the subjects we teach and have worked hard to ensure students receive a broad learning experience in many different subjects. We feel that they type of experience offered enables every student to develop the confidence to follow their own path, develop their opinions and have high aspirations for themselves.
Through high-quality experiences both within and beyond the classroom, we enable students to learn, thrive and unlock their own personal potential. We want to ensure our students learn to challenge themselves, discover who they are and feel inspired to take brave and exciting steps towards their future careers.
At Ribston Hall, we are proud of our academic values. The role of our staff community is to ensure or students become more effective, autonomous learners. Through the use of effective pedagogy, informed by cognitive science, teachers at Ribston Hall enable students to learn with great cognitive fluence. With a strategic focus on increasing challenge, our teachers help to develop skills across all Key Stages to ensure students quickly become more confident, reflective learners that enjoy deep thinking.
