With a modern campus immersed in the "Green Heart" of Rome, the Natural Reserve of Monte Mario, Rome International School (RIS) is located close to the city centre and is the only school in the eternal city authorised to deliver both the IB Primary Years Programme and the acclaimed IB Diploma Programme.

RIS delivers a rich international Middle Years curriculum leading to the Cambridge IGCSE.

Extensive outdoor learning

We believe all children deserve to explore in nature so we regularly take advantage of the wooded areas of the natural parkland surrounding us. The outdoor classroom in the school woods allows students to build on their learning in class by observing and interacting with the natural environment around them
