The Academy of St Francis of Assisi

The Academy of St Francis of Assisi is an 11 – 16 Academy with900 students on role.  It is a joint foundation of the Anglican and Catholic Dioceses of Liverpool and is situated in the grounds of Newsham Park in Kensington, Liverpool.

The Academy:

• is judged as outstanding in all areas as a Church school by the Diocese and Archdiocese of Liverpool
• is judged as a good school with outstanding and exceptional features and recognised by Ofsted for good practice in its specialism of sustainability and the environment

Our unique buildings have been designed and developed by award-winning architects and offer state of the art, 21st Century facilities for our staff and students – providing a learning environment in which our students can thrive and succeed.

The Academy aims to help all of our young people recognise a sense of meaning in their lives as we work together to promote the spiritual, emotional, moral and intellectual development of everyone.
