About The British School, Rio de Janeiro
The British School, Rio de Janeiro (TBS), educates over 2000 students from the ages of 2 to 18 years within its three school sites across the city.
With our rigorous academic programmes, based on best UK, international and local practice, and our vibrant co-curricular and after-school activities, we offer a stimulating, exciting and challenging educational experience for our children. Through our strong Guiding Principles and Core Values, we aim to guide and nurture our students to become well-informed and principled citizens.
Within the classroom, TBS continually strives to maintain high professional standards. This is assured through a dynamic staff development programme and our performance appraisal system, as well as by addressing the rigorous demands of the accreditation standards expected by CIS (Council of International Schools).
We want our students to be happy in school and we hope that their school experience will be fondly and warmly remembered for life.
