The original flagship school teaches the Victorian version of the Australian curriculum. It opened in 2007 on a purpose-built site on the border of Dubai and Sharjah. we currently have 3 regional campuses located on Kalba, Khorfakkan and Melihea
The school’s primary focus is to meet the learning needs of the students and to help achieve excellent outcomes. As an all-though school the education is divided in to three stages; early learning, primary, and secondary. It is a fully co-educational school owned by the government of Sharjah and managed as a private school in collaboration with the Victorian Department of Education and Training.

The school’s vision is to provide a welcoming environment that challenges students. It fosters respect and encourages pupils to become responsible citizens. It aims to help develop students and help them to become knowledgeable, critical thinkers who are confident and reflective.
The school’s core values are Excellence, Diversity, Learning, Integrity and Community.
The school’s curriculum is based on three frameworks from Australia as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. In the Early Learning Centre the framework used is called the Victorian Developmental Framework, from Grade 1 to 10 the framework followed is the Victorian Essential Leaning Standards. In the final two years it will be International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
All teachers at the school will be offered accommodation, a monthly tax free salary, annual airfares (for employee, spouse and 2 dependent children) and subsidised schooling (for up to 2 children).
