About Us

Walpole Cross Keys Primary School is situated just 8 miles away from the large town of King's Lynn, nestled at the heart of a rural village surrounded by wide open fields and part of the West Norfolk Academies Trust.

Our Pupils

Walpole Cross Keys Primary School has around 50 children, made up of three classes: Reception and Year 1 (Class One), Years 2 and 3 (Class Two) and Years 4, 5 and 6 (Class Three). We believe all children in our school are entitled to a secure and happy environment, in which they are encouraged to become independent, considerate to others and to make the most of their abilities. The children at Walpole Cross Keys are well behaved and hardworking.

Our Teaching & Support Staff

Our school is supported by a wonderful team of dedicated teachers, teaching assistants and support staff. Our vision is to give each child the individual attention needed to develop their full potential and provide a caring environment where emphasis is placed on respect and tolerance for others. Working in partnership with parents we will provide the very best start in life to develop confident learners, who are ready to meet the future challenges of education, work and life.

Our Curriculum

At Walpole Cross Keys Primary School, we are very proud of our Knowledge Curriculum that has been written for teachers, by teachers. We offer an aspirational Curriculum which is built upon powerful knowledge. The intention of our Knowledge Curriculum is for pupils to have the requisite knowledge, skills and wider understanding to be successful, independent and motivated learners, in readiness for their next stage of education.
