Job overview

We are looking to appoint a SEND Administrative Assistant to work within our Enhanced Resource Units (ERS).

In this role, you will work under the direction and guidance of the Head of ERS to offer clerical and administrative support to the faculty. You will communicate effectively with students, parents, and outside agencies, as well as other faculties within the Academy, to provide an effective administration service. You will also maintain effective SEND organisational systems and triage enquiries from inside and outside the Academy.

You will ensure a first-class professional response to a wide range of needs to create a positive and supportive impression of the Academy.

In this temporary role to cover maternity leave, you will work 37 hours per week at 38.2 weeks per year, term time plus a September INSET day. The hours of work are 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
