We seek to appoint an Advanced Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours per week, working term time only (including training days) to join our team at Newland St John's Church of England Academy.

Newland St John's Church of England Academy is a very special and safe space where we live together, learn together and shine together, in the love of God.  We have a close relationship with our parish church, St John Newland, and are part of Hope Sentamu Learning Trust, a family of academies working together to improve outcomes for children, under the oversight of the Diocese of York Educational Trust.

This role will work under the direction of the class teacher and other appropriate staff, in assisting with and contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the learning process. The post holder will work in classes, or other appropriate locations with access to support and guidance, supervising groups and /or individual pupils.

Hours of Work: 32.5 Hours per Week, Term Time Only (including training days)

Position Type: Fixed Term until 31st August 2025
